4 out of 5 stars Well, I liked it!   July 17, 2010

It's a fantasy novel and an entertaining story. Oh, I was annoyed by the minor detail (as mentioned in another review) of the "Angel" license plate. But the story kept my attention and it was a good read for this summer. I found I'd rather read this book than waste an evening watching TV or playing around on the computer. It helps to have familiarity with some current topics (i.e. Dr. Maseru Emoto, quantum mechanics, harmonic vibrations). I found it interesting how the author used such concepts to support her story. Just suspend reality and enjoy the story.

3 out of 5 stars A slight disappoinment   July 17, 2010

The premise and promise of the book drew me in. Overall the book left me with a feeling that it would make an interesting movie, because of the special effects which could be employed. Some characters were developed quite well while some were quite shallow, and in marked counterpoint. Evangeline's character was developed to an extent that was in marked contrast to Verlaine's ... surprising particularly in light of their interplay.
The way certain events happened to move along the plot, and solve certain story situations, were of the "Then a miracle happened" variety. No pun intended there, but it was the best way to say it.
All in all, it seemed to be written with the intent to have a sequel. I'll probably read any sequel, but probably as a paperback, not in hardcover as this purchase was.

Bought this book on a whim. I was not familiar with the author and had no idea what the book was actually about. Excellent read. Could not put it down. Looking forward to the author's follow up book, Angelopolis. Will definitely read!!

I enjoyed reading Angelology. It was an intriguing book, reading a lot like the DC (and I say this as a compliment). You really get the feeling of the heroine's convent experience and all the secrets it holds. I thought some of the conclusions, the way some of the story was wrapped up toward the end a little unbelievable, but it's about angels, so hey! It was well written and I liked the flashes back through time with the other characters, although at times I found it hard to follow. Well worth the money and time spent.

I have just finished reading this book by Danielle Trussoni and I can thoroughly recommend it. It is a brilliantly written book and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Cannot wait for another of Danielle's books, but unfortunately, she has informed me I have to wait until 2012 for it.
