There is a reason why this book is considered the "bible" of poker. The concepts in the book are powerful yet easy to understand. I love Brunson's style and am already use it to my advantage. Sick book!

Doyle Brunson's Super System is still the bible for poker player's. The sections on NL texas hold'em and seven card stud hi are as important today as they were when first penned 30 years ago. I even prefer the way that Brunson used a quirky way of writing his original section on NL because it emphasizes important ideas. In total this book is well worth the price.

My middle son is a poker buff. He has several books now on how to play the game. This is the one he wanted for Christmas. I don't play or understand the game myself so I could not rate this book properly.
Its OK February 10, 2010

This is he most talked about Poker book ever! Maybe thats why I was a little over excited about it. It is definately worth reading but some of the stuff might be a lil old style considered how poker has changed in the recent couple of years. The style in the book is Great for med-higher limits where the play is somewhat tight. Take care and GL to all.

This book was purchased as a gift for someone who requested it. It arrived quickly, even during the Christmas season. It was in VERY GOOD condition and I saved a large amount of money by buying it used instead of brand new. I would do it again and recommend this type of purchase to anyone.
