Product Description Master Poker is a high quality computer program which allows you to play No-limit Texas Hold'em on your home computer against highly skilled computer players at any time, night or day, without the need to risk real money while you build valuable experience.
Despite the poker craze, there are few quality commercial poker programs on the market, especially if you consider only No-limit Hold'em. This is because No-limit Hold'em is such a sophisticated and difficult game to program. The primary weakness in any poker software is with the artificial intelligence (AI) of the computer players, where critical weaknesses can be identified and exploited in just a few hours of play, permanently ruining the program's effectiveness. Master Poker was specifically designed for real poker players, who absolutely must have intelligent, unpredictable opponents in order to create real-world conditions. It is intended for players who wish to improve their game in a clean, easy to use, realistic and visually appealing environment.
Some features: Quickstart tutorial, ability to preset hand and board cards, freeze the button, save any game at any stage, detailed starting advice for novices, Rabbit Cam (see the next card), Wonder Cam (see all cards that would have been dealt), unlimited user screen names with full personal history tracking, full control over multiple AI personalities and difficulty settings, full card peeking, running text summary of each hand that can be archived or pasted to emails or discussion forums, full help menus, the ability to record a text file of every hand played in an event, prize money structure (for fun), auto-deal option, hand ranging grid, an honorable AI that never cheats or looks at your cards, individually named tournament players who actually play out every hand on all tables out of your view, and an included secondary AI dedicated exclusively to Heads-up play. Take a chance on something new and come join the ever-growing Master Poker community.

Great Game February 18, 2010 Janell K. Smock We are very happy with our purchase. We were also very happy with the technical support seeing we had some problems downloading the game on Windows 7. With the technical support we got her done!
Master Poker IS November 30, 2009 Berserxes (Ohio) The disc arrived quickly, and I installed and ran it with no problems. The program itself is an excellent tool and teacher, although I admit to not having a lot of experience with other poker programs. I like the straightforward play (with no goofy animations or "amusing" voices of players), and what I perceive to be excellent poker logic.
I'm pretty new to Hold 'Em (I used to play 7 stud fairly frequently and well), and I appreciate the advice and comments option before the flop. I'd actually like to see the same thing available after the flop, but alas...
Overall, this has proven to be a fine product, delivering what it promised!

I normally don't take the time to write reviews, but this is a great product. What really put me over the edge as far as leaving this positive review, was the free software update I just received from the developer. Thanks Scott, please keep the updates coming!
Great tool to analyze your play September 6, 2009 Joe Poker (Bay Area, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I'm an intermediate level NLHE player who was looking for a way to improve my reading skills. After seeing the great reviews for this product I felt it might be a good investment. I've been using it for about a month now and can see some definite results in my game. The AI is great as advertised and is difficult to predict making for a realistic poker experience. Some of the best features include the ability to see every winning hand whether or not it's shown down, great for confirming you made a good lay down. The customizable structure allows you to set up a tournament or sng just like the ones you play at your local casino or online. It's now more clear to me how to adjust my play based on the tourney or sng structure. The overall layout of the main screens are good, easy to use for the most part. There are some very minor problems such as, how much an oppenent bets and the current pot size are not displayed until your turn (you can place your cursor over the chips to see it.) The betting bar doesn't seem to be very intuitive or user friendly but you can use the shortcut keys like pressing number 5 after the flop bets 50% of the pot. There is also a ocassional small sound glitch when players fold that makes a squelching sound but it's rare. Overall, I'd recommend this product for any NLHE player looking for a solid poker simulator.
