Disappointed
Ordered this shuffler as a gift and was very embarrassed when it didn't work at all. We received another one in exchange and the same problem with the second one. We bought new batteries and kept moving them around in the compartment and actually got it to work twice. Then it just stopped working again and couldn't get it to work again! Product is a piece of garbage!

I write the following:
I have been on several trips since ordering the above. It came in
due time, and I opened it up after getting home from the second trip.
Two things: 1). About the product. 2). About sending it back.
1). The product caused genuine dismay. I haven't felt this way
about dealing with Amazon before.
There was no paperwork saying that I bought "so and so".
There was no instruction sheet saying "Open here, . . ."
When I did get it ready to try, it DIDN'T WORK.
2). So I thought about sending it back with suitable words,
then I thought "is it worth the trouble?"
No--so it has reclined in the storage area, with my batteries in it.
It still doesn't work, and I checked the batteries for voltage
and proper insertion. It hasn't been worth the trouble to me to
repackage and take it to UPS.
So: no shuffler, no $21.32. If you hadn't sent this email, I
probably wouldn't have bothered at all. That's just the
way I feel about it: "Bummed".

Save your money February 20, 2010

The shuffler broke the second shuffle it was to do. On th every first shuffle one side was slow to move in relation to the other and therefore a poor shuffle resulted. After a quick reload the slow side quit completely. After attempting to contact customer service to report the issue I recieved a return e-mail from from what seems to be an outsourced out of the US response as it stated taht "We are sorry for any inconvience you may have caused." The customer service was of one help. I think I will just stick to buying books from Amazon.

I'm stunned that Amazon continues to sell this product considering how many customers have reported receiving non-functional card shufflers. We bought this as a gift--it was so embarrassing to watch someone try to use our gift only to find that it would not work. (Yes, we tried various new batteries and made sure they were inserted correctly.) We were hoping it would be as good as the one we got from Radio Shack a few years back that it resembles, but instead it is a total disappointment. And since they weren't able to open the gift until after the 30 day return policy had expired, we have essentially thrown money away by ordering a gift through Amazon. Lesson learned.
Quality not a great deal February 11, 2010

This item looked great on the website, however, when removing it from the box, the item fell apart. After putting it back together, the card shuffler did NOT shuffle. I even tried two seperate set of batteries. I ended up returning the item for a refund.
