Well constructed, durable and efficient portable pump July 8, 2010 Animal (Luanda, Angola) Besides being small and portable (easily fits inside ball bags or side pockets of sports bags), the construction materials on this pump are high quality. The pump feels very solid in your hand during use and the dual-action works so well that I am able to pump my basketballs in little time with a relatively low effort.
This pump solves the problem of lost needles as the top handle of the pump has a compartment for storing the needle. However, most people entirely overlook this hidden compartment and assume that there is no needle. To make matters worse, when you first open your new pump, a sticker is placed over this compartment leading many people to believe that they got a different pump or that there really is no needle. Simply remove the sticker and you will see the cap of the hidden compartment. The needle is hidding inside.
The only drawback is that this pump does not have a latch, a groove or a compartment for storing the hose and so it loses half a star.
I have both the Tachikara and the Nike (not available at Amazon) dual-action inflation pumps and this is the one I prefer. I've had it for over six months and it still performs without any leaks, just as when I first got it.
Great personal volleyball pump May 4, 2010 Raf (New York, New York) Great personal volleyball air pump. I carry it around in my gym bag and it is holding up with wear and tear. The pumps needle conveniently stores away in it's own compartment inside the handle of the pump. Highly recommended.
Great Little Pump (Dual) April 27, 2010 G. Lachica (Caracas, Venezuela) I use this Pump with my Spalding Street ball and it's great, in just minutes I can pump it fast. And it haves a needle compartment so you can cary it always; great pump, great price, great quality.
Fantastic Ball Pump February 24, 2010 Musia (Canada) This is the best one I have bought yet - I have purchased three others befor including the compact Umbro one - which was so bad I threw it into the garbage at the soccer field
This one besides being compact and lets you unscrew the hose so you don't get kinks and breaks in it from, quickly pumps up to 13 lbs - I started with a ball at 7 lbs and within 30 strokes it measured over 13 lbs - other pumps I would pump for 50 strokes and only get it to 9 lbs
Highly recommend this for referees and coaches. It is so small it easily fits into a side pocket of a bag.

Excellent Pump December 28, 2009 none (New York City, NY) I used this pump about once a week in the spring and fall for soccer games to pump about 3 balls. It lasted me about 2 years before the seals wore out and I had to purchase a new one. Good pump, low cost, I would definitely recommend to anyone.
