| Editorial Reviews:
Product Description A fast and powerful way to win money online or play for free. Ten compelling chapters show you how to get started, explain the safety features which lets you play worry-free, and lets you in on the strategies that Doyle himself uses to beat players in cyberspace. Poker is poker, as Doyle explains, but there are also strategies that only apply to the online version, where the players are weaker!-and Doyle reveals them all in this book.

No good for serious players July 5, 2010 frank.sposaro I've read many Poker books include Doyle Brunson's Super Systems. This book is nothing like that. The advice to met for true beginners and I read through all the "important" stuff in one trip to the bathroom.
Very basic January 31, 2010 J. Gowan (Bay Area, CA) If you have never read about or played poker online this book might be of some use for you. A good bit of the book is just finding poker information on the internet, setting up a poker account online and the general basics of online play.
You could just as easily get most of this information with a Google search and the tutorial on a poker site.
'i hate it' January 11, 2010 mt reznor (earth, year zero) the title of this book should have been something like 'absolute beginner's guide to online poker' or 'online poker for dummies'.
theres nothing in the book, and i mean nothing, thats going to help anyone win any money, despite the claims on the cover...
ive had my eye on this one for awhile... im looking to learn more about the game, especially online, and ive been playin a lot for about a year, so i decided im ready for some books. and where better to start than with doyle brunson??
so today i decided to pick it up at b and n, i start from the beginning, and i try to patiently wade through all the nonsense... eventually i started skipping through, bc i really wanted to know...wheres the strategy??
the chapter that talks about online poker rooms comes to mind... he mentions his site several times, and then lists several other sites. how helpful!
then theres the chapter that describes INSTALLING SOFTWARE from doyle's site. i mean, i stopped reading after about 50 pages, but to me this seems like something you would get free when you purchase doyles software or something. i DID check the later parts of the book for anything related to actual strategy, and i didnt see much, so i promptly returned it for a refund. thank god i didnt get it on ebay like i originally planned, bc i would have been stuck with it..
i have to say that im surprised that a poker hero like doyle would slap his name on something like this. i hear his other books are good, so what happened here? as soon as i go pro, im going to ask doyle myself.
For beginners only December 3, 2009 John Martin (Pennsylvania) The book is generally full of basic, logical information that should be helpful to someone at the novice level. If you are experienced at all with online poker, however, there is not much that it has to offer. There is nothing in the book that one cannot learn in a short time by simply getting online and playing. Mr. Brunson has a folksy charm that comes through in his book, yet he tends to repeat the same message time and again in slightly different ways when he is trying to make a point. Although a pleasant and interesting read by a former two-time world champion, it lacks the necessary ingredients to help you bring your game along to a strong competitive level.
Wow, what a bad book! September 24, 2009 D. Griffin (Durham, NC) It's a good thing I got this at the library, because I'd be mad if I paid money for this book. Blatant advertising for his own site and virtually no information about poker strategies.
For example, several pages with screenshots on "how to download the software" but only a few pages in the back related to strategy.
