Product Description One hundred and thirty-three years after the death of Darth Vader, the Skywalker line has reached another low point - in the person of the last living heir, Cade Skywalker. Cade has abandoned his Jedi heritage for plans of quick wealth and a pirate's life. And his actions have attracted all of the wrong kinds of attention. Tracked by Imperial agents and targeted by Black Sun assassins, Cade is run to ground on Tatooine, where his two most famous ancestors had roots. But even if he can evade those who are trying to kill him, Cade can't escape the family legacy. Before this adventure is over, Cade will be forced to think about who he is and who he wants to be - helped along by his mother, his half-sister, and the ghost of Luke Skywalker!

| Customer Reviews: Spinning its wheels... June 11, 2010 Kid Kyoto (United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Let me start by saying I really like the Legacy series. I think writer John Ostrander has done an incredible job of creating the next chapter of the Star Wars universe and populating it with memorable characters.
But with this volume I really worry he has stalled out. Up until now it's seemed that the story was moving forward, characters were developing, the war between the Alliance and the Sith Empire was shifting.
But after eight volumes of story, after his time as a Jedi Knight and a Sith Apprentice, our main character Cade Skywalker is back to being a pirate, back to being a bounty hunter, and back to having arguements with the ghost of Luke Skywalker. It seems we've traveled a long way to go no where.
This book reprints Star Wars Legacy up to issue 41. It's been confirmed that the series will end with issue 50. I really hope the series will have a conclusion rather than spin it's wheels for another book or two. I'll probably pick up the last volumes but I'm losing enthusiasm.
Great Story May 28, 2010 Juan German (Dominican Republic) I had my doubts about a story set outside of the main events in the Star Wars universe. After reading the first volume of Ostrander and Duursema's Legacy I was hooked: there's a solid continuity to the story and the characters (and story arcs) keep developing. My 10 y.o. son likes it so much, that he's now keeping track of every volume release. It's that good.
Sorry, I'm done. May 1, 2010 Eric G. Dordel (Green Bay, WI United States) 2 out of 6 found this review helpful
As a survivor of the 80s and a general drought of Star Wars materials during that time, it's easy to blindly buy stuff. Don't get me wrong, I like this comic and I own all 8 volumes thus far. I'm done buying it now though. There were some obvious graphic mistakes in this volume, and the story is eroding. I got the impression that I had purchased something that the editors didn't take appropriate time on.
