Good to learn aggressive Hold'em March 9, 2010 Jack G (Chicago Suburbs) Keep in mind this book is 30+ years old, so you'll have to remember that it was written when nobody knew anything about aggressive poker. Nowadays everyone who's looking to play better has read this book and probably several others. That said, the ideas presented are still very relavent, and your game will improve when you implement the strategies.
Awesome info March 4, 2010 Evan E. Miller This book is full of awesome info! The book was a great value, and shipping was quick. Thanks
Super Valuable! February 23, 2010 Super G There is a reason why this book is considered the "bible" of poker. The concepts in the book are powerful yet easy to understand. I love Brunson's style and am already use it to my advantage. Sick book!
The Bible for poker players February 14, 2010 Sugafoot (The Fields of Athenry) Doyle Brunson's Super System is still the bible for poker player's. The sections on NL texas hold'em and seven card stud hi are as important today as they were when first penned 30 years ago. I even prefer the way that Brunson used a quirky way of writing his original section on NL because it emphasizes important ideas. In total this book is well worth the price.
Middle son's request February 14, 2010 R. Hamblin (Jackson, MS) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
My middle son is a poker buff. He has several books now on how to play the game. This is the one he wanted for Christmas. I don't play or understand the game myself so I could not rate this book properly.
